Words, nothing but words
For me to show
How much my love for you unfolds
Through trouble and fears
This love feels so real
And I need you to know

Even though we're far apart
You're right beside me in my heart

Don't you know my love is here?
Don't you know my love is real?
You should know by now
This much is true
My love is here for you.

Time, nothing but time
To make up your mind
I'll give you all that you need
I want you to know
I'll never let go
'Til you come back to me.

Even though you're far away
I'm right beside you day by day

Don't you know my love is here?
Don't you know my love is real?
You should know by now
This much is true
My love is here for you.

Even though we're far apart
You're right beside me in my heart
Don't you know my love is here?
Don't you know my love is real for you?
You should know by now
This much is true
My love is here . . . for you

Necessity Or Not?

DRIVING...Is it a necessity or not? Well the answer would be it depends on where you are. Just like in the Philippines, it's not really that much necessity because there are lots of other public transportations you can take like taxis, jeepneys, buses, tricycles, etc. You can go anywhere and anytime you want because such transportations are everywhere. It's even so much expensive to own a car so most people there can't afford to have one so what's the use of learning how to drive when you can't have car to use right? That's a pretty simple logic. But for other countries like United States wherein you can only have few public transportations to choose from then basically knowing how to drive is a big necessity. Why I said that? Because I experienced it. I don't know how to drive a car before so it's hard for me to go anywhere and anytime I want. There are even jobs wherein the employers required you to have your own reliable transportation and valid driver's license. So even you might be qualified with other basis but for sure you can't meet such requirement since you don't know how to drive. Technically you will not be hired unless they will consider your situation and will hire you even without meeting such thing. That's the case of not knowing how to drive in a country like United States.

Therefore I strongly recommend for those who want or are planning to come to United States, you better learn how to drive while you are still in your country. It might be much cheaper to do it there because it will cost you atleast $345 to enroll in a driving class here. It is also much easier to do it there since it needs to have a good weather to be safe in learning how to drive. You can't practice driving when it's snowing because the road will be so slippery. You still need to wait to have a good weather or it's summertime to practice driving to make sure the road is safe to drive on. Better take this advice seriously if you want or plan to come here in the U.S. or in other country wherein driving is a necessity so you will not experience what happened to me.

I Believe In God

DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD? That's a very basic question that most people don't want to answer for being afraid to be rejected, persecuted, humiliated or contradicted by other people. But why afraid to say whatever you truly believe in as long as you have true basis of such beliefs?

YES I truly believe in God who is the Almighty One, the Creator of all who gives us life. My only basis for such belief is the HOLY BIBLE. But I am just wondering that inspite and despite of such proof, there are still people who don't believe in God and never believe He truly exists. There is only one thing I can say. If you don't believe in God and never believe He truly exists then you never ever believe your own existence. Everything we can feel or see in this world shows that there is God. I know this is a very strong statement that many will contradict me for saying that but I don't care coz it's better to say the truth than compromise to what are lies. Just like what I've read before that Truth is never an opinion coz Truth is always truth whether you will agree or accept it or not.

To those who believe in God, keep on believing and knowing Him more and more each day. Stand firm in the coming days. And to those who don't believe in God, think and try to seek the truth for the Truth will set you free. Godbless and more power to all !!!!

What is a BLOG?

A blog is a personal online dairy that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or reflect the purpose of the Web site that hosts the blog. Topics sometimes include brief philosophical musings, commentary on Internet and other social issues, and links to other sites the author favors, especially those that support a point being made on a post. In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or email you.

Anyway, have you tried writing about any stuff? If you haven't then try to do blog. You will learn a lot as well as you will be forced to use your brain to think on what to say... lol. But honestly it is beneficial because it will sharpen your thinking and writing skills. You can even share your life experiences which will encourage and teach other people a lesson. In that way you can help them know how to face same challenges you already had experienced. Sounds rewarding huh? Definitely YES. So give it a try. You might discover you are good in writing.

Craving

Today, I'm craving for Tilapia. When I was young, Grandma used to buy fresh Tilapia in the market every Saturday. I remember those days, on how Grandma cooked it. I love Tilapia. I think mostly Filipino love this kind of fish.

Sometimes here in our local grocery store, you can see this kind of fish but is not fresh. One time I bought one Tilapia and after I cooked it the taste is not that great. I don't know where to find a fresh one here.

Mathematics Time!

It's the Math time again. Why? Cuz it's

Since last year I didn't go to any income tax preparer anymore because I just learned how to make my income tax by using Turbo Tax. And even I know already how to file it, I could not stop worrying that perhaps I did something wrong with it. But I know before I filed my income tax I did it right.

Well, this year too I will do my own income tax again. I think this year is not that hard it is just a simple preparation for me compared last year. Hopefully, I will get some refund this year.

Filipina Vanishes Near Neskowin Beach

Watching this news made me feel so sad. What a tremendous tragedy for my co-filipina! I felt so sorry for the loss of the family of Ms. Leafil Alforque. I pray for strength especially for her mother. This must be so traumatizing for her and for everybody who loves Leafil.

While reading the comments in this news a lot of nasty people thinks that US filipinas marrys foreigner for us to be saved from poverty. If that's what some thinks, can't do anything about it now, beacuse filipinas reputation has been damaged by some filipinas who really did that thing. But NOT ALL are like them. It really hurts me everytime I hear and read some comments about us Filipinas--negative comments. We are not what you think. I am hoping that foreigners will not think always that ALL of us fiilipinas are the same. Also, about the age gap...have u heard the saying age doesn't matter when it comes to love? I believe that... It doens't really matter, if they are in love with each other then why not get married and live happily.

Anyway, my heartfelt condolence to her family and love ones.

National Flag And National Anthem Of The Philippines

The national flag of the Philippines has a white triangle on the left. On either side tapering off to the left are two stripes, the top one blue, the bottom one red. The white triangle contains three five-point stars and sun with eight rays. The sun symbolises freedom and its eight rays represent the first eight provinces that revolted against Spanish colonial rule. The stars symbolise the three geographical divisions of the Philippines: Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao. The blue stripe stands for the equality and unity of the people. The red stripe (place on top in wartime) symbolises the readiness of the Filipinos to fight to the death of their country. On 12 June 1898, from the balcony of General Emilio Aguinaldo house in Cavite, he declared the independence of the Philippines. On this day the Philippine national flag was raised and the Philippine national anthem played for the first time. In the form of a march, the Marcha Nacional Filipina anthem was composed by Julian Felipe and the words were written by Jose Palma.

Puerto Galera

Puerto Galera is one of the most popular beach resorts in the Philippines. A marine reserve, it is endowed with coves, fine sandy beaches and shallow coral reefs ideal for snorkeling.

The place can be reached from the port of Batangas City where a ferry service to Mindoro awaits the tourists. Bancas may be hired to go to Escarceo Point, the best dive spot in Puerto Galera. The area offers positive thrills and guaranteed excitement, with its sudden rushes of strong currents and steep slopes which are a favorite gathering place for large pelagic fish.Diving expeditions are usually organized by certified masters on specific dive spots.

Puerto Princesa

At 210,670 hectares, Puerto Princesa is the second largest city in the Philippines after Davao, in terms of area. Even rural Sabang and the St. Paul Subterraneal National Park, 50 km north of the city centre, belong administratively to the city. It is a relativlely new city with about 70,000 inhabitans in the urban area itself and total population of around 150, 000. Although new constructions are going up all the time, you can still find beautiful buildings there in the traditional style, the main ones being the cathedral and the Provincial Capitol. At the waterfront there are fishermen's hunts built right up to and into the water.

The city is remarkable for its cleanliness, something the Mayor Edwin Hagedorn is deservedly praised for. He managed to enthuse the locals with the idea of keeping their city clean. Refuse disposal and street cleaning both function immaculately, and many tricycles even have an ashray with them (throwing away cigarette butts on the street incurs a fine of P200). The latest distinctions garnered by Puerto Princesa are the 1993 Eath Day Award and the 1994 Macliing Dulag Environment Award.

The scene on the wharf at sunset is very fun. Puerto Princesa Bay also has some interesting places for diving. For about P600 you can hire an outrigger for a few hours and sail, swim, dive and fish in the bay. Nasin-Aw white beach is on the southern edge of town; admission P5. Watch out for sea urchins when you're swimming. It's best to wear shoes for protection. You can get to the Nasin-Aw White Beach by tricycle.

Subic Bay

Subic, the former US naval base in the Philippines, is now a hub for commerce and tourism. Just two-and-a-half hour drive north from Manila, Subic offers a full view of the blue mountain and sea and of the green background of a three-layered virgin forest.

Points of interest include the 18-hole Binictican Golf Course and Clubhouse, a white-sand beach, bowling and arcade center,a ship wharf past a restricted forested area, firing ranges, fishing grounds and an area for bungee jumping.

Visitors to Subic can take a 12-hour jungle survival course, visit an Aeta tribal village, take a bay cruise, explore the coves, end up at the white-sand beach of Grande Island, engage in water sports, go horseback riding or simply enjoy the scenic view of the sea.

Subic Bay is complete with tourism-support facilities that include a marina, a yacht club, hotels, shopping arcades and food shops. It also boasts of an international airport.
